Happy Hannukah!

Hannukah begins December 12th. It is the Festival of Lights and is celebrated for eight (8) days. Eight is the luckiest number if you are Chinese No wonder Chinese food is so popular! And it’s lucky if you are Jewish, because you get 8 Happy Hannukah gifts (one each day).

The festival is observed by the kindling of the lights of a special candelabrum, the nine-branched Menorah or Hanukiah, one light on each night of the holiday, progressing to eight on the final evening.

An extra light called a shamash (Hebrew: “guard” or “servant”) is also lit each night for the purpose of lighting the others, and is given a distinct location, usually above or below the rest or in the center.

The beautiful thing I love about this special holiday is that it reminds us that we can light many candles, or share our own light with so many others, and it never diminishes the light that is the source.

Happy Hannukah!

Rotunda, the main character of my Kisses™ comic strip, is the faithful president of Weight Wishers. She is an expert on every diet. Her favorite part of this holiday – besides sharing love and light – are the lotkas, potato pancakes.

For a donation of $18 or more to Invest In Love, we’ll send you 10 Happy Hannukah cards.

For $8000 we’ll bury you in Kisses™ (greetings), and schedule a speaking engagement &/or fundraiser with Vivian Greene and her dancers!

Enjoy! And thanks for the light you’ve brought into my life year after year after year!

Happy Hannukah, and Happy Every Day!

Kisses,

Vivian Greene
